The FENNEK Armoured Car was developed by the German and Dutch army as a reconnaisance car.
Special duties for the Dutch Army in Afghanistan (ISAF) asked for extra armour protection for the crew. A BAR Armour system was developed that is used on many vehicles, also after the ISAF mission had ended.
